Mar 31st 2009 8:44AM Ich nehme alles zurück. Habe gerade versucht, eine Sprachverbindung zwischen iPhone mit Skype vom deutschen Store mit iPod Touch 2ndGen mit Skype vom UK Store herzustellen. Beide hatten aktiviertes WiFI/VPN. Funktioniert nicht – es kommt die gleiche Fehlermeldung auf beiden Geräten, dass Anrufe über 3G (?!) nicht freigeben sind.

Mar 31st 2009 8:30AM Genau, funktioniert zumindest bei mir nach Neustart ganz gut. Saubere UI. Sprache gibts aber nur über WLAN.

Nicht ganz richtig, technisch gesehen ist es kein Problem, mehrere Programme mit _einem_ Tuner zu sehen, es muss sich alles nur im selben Kanal abspielen (pro Kanal kann es mehrere Programme geben). Zumindest mein eyeTV Einfach-Tuner unterstützt das.

Sep 20th 2008 5:08AM The joke called the Voigt-Kampff is pretty inapplicable here, since it's only software. I'd rather go with the classic Turing Test. Or some derivate of it. To create an "understanding" machine (i.e. a machine which creates the impression that it actually understands _something_) you need (amongst other things) contextual knowledge and a model of the world, which means it has an "idea" about how we live (latter) and "followed the conversation" (former). It is an extremely complex task for sure, but I think we can at least achieve it in a simple way, for now.
