Panasonic hat Nachwuchs für die Lumix-Reihe parat: DMC-G5 Micro Four Thirds , DMC-FZ200 Superzoom und DMC-LX7 heissen die neuen Familienmitglieder. Die DMC-G5 ist die Nachfolgerin der G3 und kommt mit 16-Megapixel Sensor und kann Video mit 60 fps in 1080p aufnehmen, außerdem bei voller Auflösung auch Salven von sechs Bildern in der Sekunde mit bis zu 12.800 ISO. Die DMC-FZ200 ersetzt die FZ150 und ist eine Superzoom-Kamera mit 12 Megapixel-Sensor und einer Leica Elmarit-Linse mit 2,8 Festblende und 25-600mm mit einer mit Nanopartikeln beschichteten Oberfläche, die Streulicht und Störbilder verhindern soll. Sie kommt mit 24-fachem optischen Zoom und kann 1080p Video mit bis zu 60 fps und Bildersalven mit bis zu 12 fps, der maximale ISO-Wert liegt allerdings bei nur 6.400. Die LX7 schliesslich kommt mit 10-Megapixel Sensor, dem Leica Summilux mit 24-90mm f/1.4-2.3 mit der gleichen Nanopartikelbeschichtung wie die FZ200. Sie kann ebenfalls Video mit 60 fps in 1080p aufnehmen und bietet maximal 12.800 ISO.
