Oh my god... who needs THAT ?
Ugly dark grey, strange design, poor Atom inside, no nothing as an OS...
I don't know any other company generating one flop following the other. That Google twitter type thing failed, Wave failed, GoogleTv failed, Honeycomb -as we start seeing it- ...failed (poor Xoom sales). Now Chrome OS - who the hell needs that ?
I just imagine trying to sell that kind of stuff to my parents as their home notebook... If not Windows, then people buy MacOS and nothing else. If we're talking about geeks, ok, but that won't be enough.
The key problem of Google, just as with Android: people choose Google because it's cheap or for free. But those customers don't generate any further revenue on content. Despite millions of smartphone activations nobody's buying apps. Thats also why Google tablets are failing: Tablets rely on good apps much more than smartphones (which are at least usable for phone calls). And as nobody on Android spends money on apps and content, there won't be good apps.
Same with video rentals: People buying Honeycombs won't buy music or movies from that new Google store. Googles only chance is to gift everything to the user for free. I doubt they can gift away everything. 5500 free Samsung tablets for the conference people ...ok...but can they gift away some 100 millions of those ?

"und kommt für einen Aufpreis auch mit weltweitem 3G"
Ist das nach dem Kauf auch kostenlos nutzbar wie beim Kindle?
