Unsere US-Kollegen haben von Microsoft auf der E3 ihre erste 250GB Xbox 360 kredenzt bekommen und sie eifrig ausgepackt und untersucht. Gestern angekündigt wird das etwas schlankere neue Modell (das von Microsoft trotzdem schlicht die "neue Xbox 360 genannt wird) im schwarzen Glossydesign mit berührungsempfindlichen Buttons schon heute in den USA für 299 Dollar zu haben sein, bei uns dauert es noch bis zum 16. Juli. Neben der großzügigen herausnehmbaren 250 GB Festplatte kommt sie mit integriertem 2,4GHz 802.11n WiFi und fünf USB-Ports. Leider ist die Festplatte keine Standardplatte und alte passen auch nicht. Die Konsole soll deutlich leiser sein als bisher, was unsere Kollegen bestätigen konnten und besitzt einen proprietären Kinect-Port, mit dem sich die vormals Project Natal genannten Fuchtelcontroller anschliessen lassen.
